Hi y’all, my name is Miss Daisy, but please just call me Daisy. I am a super cute 15.1 hand black Percheron cross gal born in 2008. I must say that I am very well built, just the perfect size for so many things. I know I will be great at my new career. I hail of Kentucky originally. My donors, Heath and Courtney Ball, took me on numerous hunts and I really loved fox hunting! But after a little while, it was just too fast paced for me. Don’t get me wrong, I have a wonderful forward and active gait and am very responsive to my rider; I just prefer to go a little slower these days.

So, in April of 2019, I was donated to Fieldstone. I just know I am going to be one of the best therapy horses here! I love to be groomed and have very good ground manners. I respond very well to verbal cues. I am versatile, due to my size and temperament. I just love to please and really want to work. I am great with most of the activities in the ring. I have been there, done that, and seen a lot of stuff on the hunt field over the years. It was great training for this new job. I know I will get lots of attention and fussed over like any other girl would enjoy. I have one little blemish on my right rear leg. No worries, it doesn’t bother me or affect my work. I was kicked by another horse (no fault of mine, except being too easy going and sweet with other horses) in turnout prior to coming here so there is some filling and a small scar on that leg.

I know you all will love me as much as I love being here. Please remember that I prefer a loose lead line and gentle half halts when needed, but only after giving me verbal direction. I walk with a purpose and have a forward trot; I just don’t want you to be surprise when you work with me!

See y’all soon! Looking forward to working with you!
