Summer

Born on Aug. 5, 2022, Summer is the first foal ever born at Fieldstone Farm. She was quite a surprise as we only learned that her mom, Rose, was pregnant about a month prior to her birth. Summer, like her mom, is a Suffolk Punch, a rare and sturdy breed. She is growing quickly. Her full name is Summer’s Surprise, aptly named by one of our instructors. She is a gentle girl and extremely social and curious. Everyone loves to check in on her to see how she is growing. She will be staying on at Fieldstone Farm as everyone felt it was the best place for her to grow up and receive the groundwork to become a potential future therapy horse. She gets loads of attention and being around all the people at the farm is one of the best environments for her future career. She will continue to receive special training with the hope that when she is old enough, she will be a wonderful therapy horse, just like her mother is. Read her whole story.
