Fieldstone Farm update

April 2, 2020

Dear Fieldstone Farm Friends,

We would like to thank our entire Fieldstone Farm family for your amazing support at this time. Many of you have contacted us offering to help take care of the horses or with any other needs we may have. We are truly honored by all of your generous thoughts and while they are appreciated, we are trying to minimize the number of people at the farm. So for now, our amazing staff is taking good care of the horses and farm.

While our horses are cared for daily, the situation has encouraged our instructional staff to think very creatively so that we can continue to reach our students and volunteers even though they are not able to come to the barn at this time. Our instructors have sent stretching videos to their students, as well as activities and lessons that they can work on at home. Our staff has also been posting many pictures on Facebook daily so that everyone who loves our horses can see how well they are doing as they continue to enjoy some unexpected downtime in the pastures. Our volunteers are also receiving weekly video lessons to improve their horse skills. The overall situation, although very distressing, has also given us an opportunity to continue to share our program in unique ways, and for that we are truly grateful.

We miss you all and hope we can continue to stay connected through our Facebook posts and emails! Meanwhile, stay healthy! We hope to see everyone back again soon!

Sincerely,

Lynnette Stuart
Chief Executive Officer
